For now, our weekly newsletter is only in French, but we’re working on an English version!

Our aim is to provide everyone with the tools to better understand the interactions between the economy, ecology and society.

What can you find on The Other Economy?

• Modules, to guide you through major economic issues: finance, money, labor, natural resources and pollution, trade, etc. We cover the essential aspects and provide keys for understanding and “deconstructing” the most common dogmas and myths.
• Articles, shorter pieces of content that analyse specific examples, explain the main ‘laws’ of economics, or clarify more or less technical concepts.
• Resources, a regularly updated selection of books, reports, videos and podcasts, and databases to help you go further.

Finally, because the economics cannot be neutral, we affirm clearly our vision of what the economy should be: an economy resolutely dedicated to the prosperity of the people of today and tomorrow, to the preservation of the major ecological balances and to the resilience of our planet’s ecosystems. We therefore also present proposals for the main avenues of ecological reconstruction.
